| SPMCIL inter-unit Official Language Conference was successfully organized on 19.12.2023 at Kolkata by India government Mint for the benefit of all employees including officers, translators working in Official Language Department across SPMCIL to convene and discuss on matters pertaining to implementation of Official language. The programme was inaugurated by Sh. Sunil Kumar Sinha, Director (Human Resource), SPMCIL who was also the Chief Guest for the event, by lighting the lamp. Sh. Rajat Paul, Chief General Manager, India Government Mint, Kolkata alongwith other senior officers also graced this occasion. In his inaugural address, the Director (Human Resource) highlighted the significance of the Official Language and mentioned that the work of Official Language in offices is of such importance that due constitutional provisions and responsibilities have been defined. He emphasized that implementation of Official Language is an integral part of the any Indian Organization. He also mentioned that during the inspections carried out by Hon’ble Committee of Parliament on Official Language, at the level of Corporate Office and Units, the Parliamentary Committee has appreciated efforts entailed in implementation of Official Language. He encouraged the Officials to keep making sincere efforts to ensure stellar performance in the future also. During the conference, various sessions were conducted such as Official Language management, suggestions for better Official Language implementation, criteria for the highest award of Official Language. The initiative around preserving the legacy and heritage of SPMCIL Units by a writing a comprehensive record in Hindi was also discussed and gained huge praise. Shri Nirmal Kumar Dubey, Assistant Director, Regional Official Language Implementation Office, Kolkata was invited as a guest faculty while rest of the sessions were managed in-house. Director (HR) praised the entire event especially the presentation made during the programme regarding implementation of Official Language. He also congratulated the India Government Mint, Kolkata for making excellent arrangements for organizing this event. |
